Schoolville Limited helped save its clients over 100 million in cost, thanks to digitization – Mr. Charles Omordia
The Chairman/CEO of Schoolville Limited, Mr Charles Omordia, stated that he and his company thanks to digitalization had been able to save his clients over ?100 million in operational cost as well as corporate fraud.
Omordia stated this in Victoria Island during a National Productivity Centre (NPC) Excellence Award on Productivity and Innovation which Schoolville Limited was bestowed the award “Most Productive and Innovative Company in the Educational Sector.”
Speaking further, Omordia explained that Schoolville Limited was able to achieve this amazing feat by using digitalization to improve its clients labor and capital productivity as well as increase transparency.
The CEO also highlighted that from his wealth of experience the two challenges facing Digitalization in Nigeria are firstly cost of acquiring digitalization and secondly people’s unwillingness to embrace digitalization.
“Buying a computer in your office and not using it, or not connecting it to the internet is not digitalization”, he kindly joked.
Dr. Kashim Yunusa Akor the Director-General of the National Productivity Centre commended and awarded Mr Charles Omordia and Schoolville Limited for their outstanding achievement in using digitalization to enhance the productivity of Nigerians companies especially those in the educational sector. Dr Akor told Schoolville Limited and the other companies present like Nigerian Breweries, Vitaform, that the doors of NPC are open to any company that needs its help.
