Build with AI – Basic Skills Level (BSL)
This beginner-level AI course introduces young learners (ages 7–9) to the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence through engaging, age-appropriate activities. The program uses interactive tools, colorful visuals, and storytelling-based projects to help children understand how AI works — and how they can use it to create images, voices, and stories. The learning experience promotes creativity, digital skills, and foundational logic through a fun, guided journey.
Course Overview
The BSL track of the Build with AI program helps children:
- Explore AI through stories, characters, games, and art
- Understand that machines can "see," "talk," and "create"
- Practice early tech skills like clicking, dragging, typing, and recording
- Work in small groups to share, present, and build confidence
- Gain exposure to tools like DALL·E, Scratch Jr, and fun voice generators
