Course Outcome

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  2. Apply orbital mechanics to satellite mission design

  3. Identify and design satellite subsystems

  4. Simulate satellite orbits and ground coverage

  5. Design basic satellite communication links

  6. Analyze Earth observation and remote sensing data

  7. Understand launch systems and mission phases

  8. Model CubeSat and small satellite missions

  9. Evaluate risks and constraints in space missions

  10. Develop and present a complete space technology capstone project

Course Prerequisite

Recommended (but not mandatory):

  • Engineering mathematics

  • Physics (basic mechanics & electromagnetism)

  • Electronics or aerospace fundamentals

  • Programming basics (Python / MATLAB – optional)
